Patricia Pearson

Patricia Pearson is an award-winning novelist and journalist whose most recent book is the critically-acclaimed Brief History of Anxiety…Yours and Mine. She has written extensively for newspapers and magazines, and has been a columnist for the National Post, Maclean’s and CBC.ca. Her comic novel Playing House was shortlisted for the Stephen Leacock Memorial Medal for Humour, and adapted for television.
As a speaker, she talks to audiences about the role of humour in women’s lives, and about nurturing creativity and confidence in people who suffer from anxiety or depression.
